This base will be more than enough on its own only if the attackers are attacking you without clan castle troops but if they have something in their clan castle you’ll be getting Rekt every time unless you have something in your clan castle of defense as well. Mortar is placed in a well-protected spot from where, its range covers pretty much all our defenses, which helps us in tackling armies like mass goblins, BARCH, and other spam attacks. If you want to copy this base layout to your game just click on the “Copy Base” button.So I been observing the kind of armies people use on lower town halls like 4, and the most common attack army I found was using giants + loons, in this army, opponents takes out our air defense using giants because that air defense is the biggest threat to their balloons, and in most that you usually see air defense is placed in some outer compartment where it’s quite exposed and some giants along with a couple of wall breakers can easily take out the air defense, and then balloons can finish off the rest of the base, so while making this base, it was my priority to place the air defense at a spot where its quite protected and its range is used to its fullest potentional, hence placing it in the core is the most appropriate choice, because here, opponent’s can’t take it out by some giants and wall breaker, it’s quite deep inside, so giants will always go for any other defense other than air defense, this is absolutely against opponent’s plan, because their giants die before they can reach our air defense, and now they can’t deploy their balloons because that lethal air defense in the center is still there to absolutely demolish the balloons, and you can see how air defense’s range cover pretty much the whole base, that is why this base is so good against air attacks like mass balloons. Also, all the traps are placed in the right place so it can be used effectively. So, it will be hard to get Town Hall in this layout.
From the right and left side cannon and the archer tower are kept respectively to defense the base.Īlso, Town Hall is kept in the middle of the base, guarded with almost all the defensive buildings. And from downside air defense, mortar and cannon can help in defending the base. From the upper side of the base, archer tower will defend from the ground and air troops. And also opponent troops will take a longer time in attacking.
From this idea, we can expand the life of the defense tower and Town Hall as well. In this TH4 Base Layout, all the defense towers are kept inside of the walls.
